SALIM KHAN speaks out about his own son - Salman Khan. Says the Actor needs to be hanged.
Salman Khan, the famed actor has again made headlines in the news by his controversial comment stating that his unpleasant experience on the set of his upcoming movie “Sultan” is equivalent to a woman that has faced rape. Many people have denounced him whereas some have sympathized with him. Salim Khan, father of Salman Khan has publicly apologized on his behalf but Salman has yet to address this matter.
On June 18, almost 50 journalists were present at the Mehboob Studios in Mumbai for a succession of interviews for Salman Khan for his upcoming movie Sultan that has been set for a July 2nd release.
In the movie he portrays a middle aged wrestler who tries to make a return at the Olympics representing India.
During the second round of interview, he stated that he had to lift a man of 120 kg (264.6 lbs) 10 times for 5 different camera angles. That too he had to do it for 6 to 8 hours. He cited the routine as grueling and went on to say “When I used to walk out of that ring, it used to be actually like a raped woman walking out.”
He quickly retracted the statement seconds after stating it yet the interview quickly became viral and the audio file of him making the statement can be found on YouTube.
Many people have denounced him whereas some have sympathized with him. Salim Khan, father of Salman Khan has publicly apologized on his behalf but Salman has yet to address this matter. Salim stated that due to his celebrity status, the faux pas was highlighted to an extent that would damage his reputation. He went on to further state that if Salman was a normal guy, the statement would not have stirred such a controversy and that the only thing left to do is hang Salman.
He emphasized that media is powerful and the only thing it wants to do is create controversy and stated that they misused their power by promoting such news.
